- Meet Marlene Lopes, an adventurous and lively individual. Originally from the vibrant region of Amazonas, Brazil, and proudly descended from indigenous roots. In May 2005, she moved to Portugal, where she later joined the FSVR team in the Housekeeping department in 2013. Since then, she has been an integral part of the team. Marlene has a true passion for life. She loves to travel, explore new places, and experience new cultures. When she's not off on an adventure, you can often find her dancing, spending time with friends and family, and simply enjoying a good time. She also has a passion for sports, with a special love for walking and swimming, which help her stay active and connected with nature. In her quieter moments, Marlene enjoys relaxing with a good novel or watching a movie that captivates her with a compelling plot. She also finds peace in one of her favourite pastimes, fishing. - Meet Edna Silva Originally hailing from the region of Bahia, Brazil, Edna Silva made a life-changing move to Portugal in February 2024. Shortly after her arrival, she joined the FSVR team in March in the Housekeeping department. In her free time, Edna loves to soak up the sun at the beach, often taking long leisurely walks along the shore. She also enjoys shopping, embracing the vibrant culture and unique finds that Portugal has to offer. Family is important to Edna, she treasures her outings with her 19-year-old daughter Maria Luisa and finds great joy in her faith and church community. One of Edna's standout talents is her culinary skills. Back in Brazil, she was a professional cook. Her passion for cooking continues to flourish, as she delights in experimenting with new recipes and flavours. An artsy soul at heart, Edna has a keen appreciation for the beauty around her. - Meet Juan Lourenço, an enthusiastic member of our team originally from Argentina. He moved to Portugal in March 2023, bringing with him a passion for new experiences and cultural exchange. By May 2024, Juan had joined the FSVR Maintenance department. With a deep love for travel, he is always eager to learn new things both personally and professionally. Outside of work, Juan stays active by playing tennis and football, which are two of his favourite sports. Music also plays a significant role in his life; he enjoys reggaeton and rock, which add rhythm and energy to his daily routine. If you spot Juan around the resort, don’t hesitate to say hello.
